MECOSS is part of a Regional and National NGO organization, which has strong connections to Government departments and policy development in New Zealand . We are actively involved with better provision of Social Services to the people of Manukau East.

‍Community Networks Aotearoa is the national organization for local Councils of Social Services throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.

The membership of local COSS includes people in local government and people working locally for central government agencies, as well as people working for not-for-profit and voluntary social service organizations.
